Target Completed By The End Of 2026, Jakarta LRT Development Progress Phase 1B Capai 47.13 Percent
JAKARTA - PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) recorded that the progress of the construction of the Jakarta LRT phase 1B route as of January 31, 2025 reached 47.13 percent. This project is targeted for completion by the end of 2026.
The work on the construction of the Jakarta LRT with the Velodrome-Manggarai route currently includes flyover structure work with a focus on the foundation, bridge pole construction, and the installation of bridge blocks.
"Currently the project is running according to the target set. Our main focus is the construction of the bridge line structure, starting from the foundation work to the installation of bridge blocks," said Director of the Jakarta LRT Project phase 1B Ramdani Akbar in his statement, Friday, February 14.
Ramdani explained, in the Rawamangun Station area, currently Entering the architectural finishing stage, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing), as well as the construction of eastern side entrances.
In the area of the BPKP Scout Station and Pasar Pramuka Station, the work was carried out at the foundation stage, pilecap, bridge poles, and shoe pierhead.
In zone 1 which includes 3 stations, the foundation drilling has been completed in the Manggarai area as well as the installation of box girder steel in Rawamangun and is now entering the work stage of the slabdeck.
Meanwhile, in zone 2, the Matraman Station area has been installed with a foundation and is now continuing to install piers and pierheads. Then in the Manggarai Station area, the drilling of the foundation is still ongoing and the installation of bridge blocks is being carried out at P110B P113B point.
"This project is expected to be an affordable and environmentally friendly urban mobility solution, while strengthening Jakarta's competitiveness in the global arena," said Ramdani.
The 1B phase Jakarta LRT has a line span of 6.4 kilometers which has 5 stations, namely Rawamangun Youth Station, BPKP Scout Station, Matraman Station Scout Market Station, and Manggarai Station.
So far, as many as 6 LRT stations have operated with a length of 5.2 kilometers in phase 1, namely Pegangsaan Dua, North Boulevard Station, South Boulevard Station, Pulomas Station, Equestrian Station, and Velodrome Station.
So, if the 1B phase has been built, the Jakarta LRT has a route length of 12.2 kilometers with 11 stations ranging from Pegangsaan Dua Station to Manggarai Station.

It is estimated that the journey from Pegangsaan Dua to Manggarai can be reached for 26 minutes. After the 1B phase is operational, it is hoped that it can serve up to 100,000 passengers per day.
