In the online Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI), the advocate's oath is interpreted as an oath officially pronounced by a lawyer when starting his profession.
In Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 18 of 2003 concerning Advocates, various matters relating to advocates, including the waste. Article 4 explains that before carrying out their profession, advocates are obliged to swear according to their religion or promise seriously at the open trial of the High Court according to the area of legal domicile.
This means that an advocate candidate is not allowed to carry out his profession before he undergoes the final stages of becoming an advocate, namely a spill.
Article 4 paragraph (2) of Law No. 18 of 2003 concerning Advocates is regulated by the oath or promise of advocates that need to be read during the process. The following reads the oath of advocate and its contents in accordance with the applicable law.
