The Meeting Of The Plan To Demolish Houses In Pulogebang Only Involving 4 People From Hundreds Of Residents
JAKARTA Mamat, ASN East Jakarta City Government, victims of building evictions in the Pulo Gebang area, Cakung District, East Jakarta were disappointed with the East Jakarta District Court and Perumnas as the owner of the land. He felt there were irregularities in the demolition process.
Mamat said, a number of residents of the land felt that they were not included in the process of meeting the eviction and mediation plan before the demolition was carried out. There are only a few residents who are invited to sit together.
"Our residents have 40 families (head of family), only 4 people have been called. Only this one, this one. Well.. other residents do not want to (come)," said Mamat, Friday, February 14.
Still admitted that he did not want to attend the meeting because he did not receive an invitation.
"If I'm called, I'll come. For example, if the name is A, B, C, D, there are four, that's what I was called. If I'm not called (at the meeting), why did I come," he regretted.
On February 2, Mamat continued, there was a demolition letter in the form of photocopy given to local residents, who occupied Perumnas land.

Then, the demolition of permanent and semi-permanent houses on land owned by Perumnas in the Pulo Gebang area, Cakung District, East Jakarta, was carried out. At that time residents complained.
Even though they were relocated to the flats, residents did not receive compensation from the Perumnas and East Jakarta District Courts who dismantled their houses. Some residents who live in permanent homes only get compensation money.
"But it's not like just (given compensation) IDR 6 million. But that's it. Time for me to be alone (stay) here, it's impossible," complained Mamat.
