Bali Dispar Installs Billboard Rules In The Aftermath Of The Actions Of Foreigners To Attack Security Guards
The Bali Tourism Office (Dispar) immediately put up a billboard announcing regulations for tourists at various points after the actions of foreign nationals (WNA) ganged up on a coastal club security guard in Berawa, Badung Regency.
"I see that the video (the security guard beating) is very concerning, we want all parties to take care, this is extraordinary that we have exceeded our expectations, this year we will install in which areas are not allowed," said Head of Bali Tourism Office Tjok Bagus Pemayun as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, February 13.
Tjok Pemayun on the sidelines of a meeting with the Bali DPRD in Denpasar, said the billboards for the "do's and don't'ts" rule would be installed at 10 vulnerable points, one of which was Berawa, where a number of nightclubs were built there.
The rest of Dispar Bali will install in tourist attractions such as Uluwatu, Tanah Lot and Bedugul, with the aim of tightening the rules that should have been understood by foreign tourists because they had been given upon arrival in Bali.
Seeing the incident when foreigners ganged up on the security guard of the viral Finns beach club, Tjok Pemayun felt that entrepreneurs in the tourism industry should help remind tourists about the applicable rules.
Tjok Pemayun is sad to see arbitrary tourists on the Island of the Gods, so he hopes that the police will immediately enforce the law in this case.
"It's a nightly activity that is said to be drunk, it means that they are beyond awareness so they do things that are not appropriate, we will communicate with law enforcement, the police are already moving, including immigration," he said.
It is known that on Tuesday (11/2) night there was a beating by a number of foreigners against four victims, namely KBDY, GDW, LR and GNAS.
