Dismantling Sea Pagar In Tangerang Completed, Natural Factors Become Obstacles

TANGERANG - The demolition of the 30.16 km Tangerang sea fence which was carried out periodically is declared complete today, Thursday, February 13. The demolition of the Tangerang sea fence which was carried out for several days involved a number of joint officers from the Indonesian Navy (AL) to the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP).

"This morning we witnessed that together it was the last day or the end of the demolition of the sea fence in Tangerang Regency, especially in 3 sub-districts," said Commander of Pasmar (Danpasmar I) Brigadier General Hermanto in Tanjung Pasir, Teluknaga, Tangerang Regency, Thursday, February 13.

He explained that the process of dismantling the fence in the Sea of Tangerang Regency took from January 22 to February 13. However, for Saturday the demolition was not carried out.

"Well, this has started from January 22 to today, February 13. If you count it with the day there are 11 working days, because Saturday-Sunday is off," he said.

Hermanto also admitted that there were obstacles that resulted in the missed process of dismantling the Tangerang sea fence. The demolition should have been targeted for 10 days to be completed. However, due to bad weather, it can be completed for 11 days. Miss 1 day.

"From the initial plan of 10 days, but due to weather conditions, natural conditions, which we heard earlier from Danlatamal's Asops, rainy weather, waves, shallowness, now this is a natural factor, so that 10 becomes 11 days," he said.

"We hope that fishermen can work happily, work again in the sea, where this sea fence had made it difficult for fishing communities, especially to find fish," he said.

In addition, Hermanto also hopes that the community, especially fishermen, will immediately report if someone returns to install it.

"We will also try here, we will patrol. Yes, because in the ranks of the Indonesian Navy, there are seniors, Lanal, Yes, there is a Posal, hopefully, report quickly from fishermen's friends. So that this problem does not continue to grow," he hoped.

"Regarding legal issues, of course this will be the domain later from PSDKP and friends from the Police," he concluded.
