Microsoft Welcomes BINUS, Telkom University, UB, And UGM In The Elevate AI Training Program
JAKARTA elevate Indonesia, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) training program launched by Microsoft and the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi), welcomes talents from a number of well-known universities.
Microsoft said that four universities, consisting of the state and private sector, had joined Indonesia's elevate. The four universities are BINUS University, Telkom University, Universitas Brawijaya (UB), and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM).
With the joining of BINUS, Telkom, UB, and UGM, Microsoft hopes that this program can reach more than 400,000 students and educators throughout Indonesia. That way, they can create more digital talents with Komdigi.
During the Indonesia elevate program, all participants will undergo training of trainers, certification exams specifically designed for the AI sector, the implementation of AI Hackathon which focuses on solving daily problems, and others.

Microsoft is still open to other universities that want to become Indonesia's elevate partners. If interested, the university can register on the elevate.id/education website. Elevate training sessions are provided free of charge, except for the certification stage.
The elevate program was first opened in early December. Within two months, Microsoft and Komdigi have welcomed 14 partners. Currently, there is a flagship program that is attended by more than 100,000 individuals in various regions.
Prior to these four latest universities, several parties who joined the elevate initiative were BPPMP South Sulawesi, Grain Initiative, BINAR, Dicoding, GenDigital Academy, State Administration Agency (LAN), NUCare Global by LAZISNU, Pijar Foundation, and Plan Indonesia.
