Fire Occurs In Arjasari Village, Bandung

The fire engulfed several houses in a village in Patrolsari Village, Arjasari District, Bandung Regency, West Java.

The Bandung Regency Fire and Rescue Service (DPKP) said it was still trying to extinguish the fire.

"If you look at this, it happened in the village. Currently it is still being handled," said Bandung Dadan Regency DPKP picket officer as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 12.

The Bandung Regency DPKP, he said, was in handling the fire, temporarily lowering fire engines from Baleendah and Ciparay.

"We lowered it from Baleendah two, from Ciparay one," he said.

There is no data on the number of houses burned, including losses caused by the flames.

"As for the update, we have not been able to provide the data, because we also have incomplete data from those in the field, sir," he said.

From witness information, the fire occurred at around 20.40 WIB, and allegedly spread to several houses to mosque buildings.
