Google Pixel 9A Comes With A New Design, Eliminates Camera Couples
JAKARTA Google seems ready to present a major change in their medium-class smartphone design with the Pixel 9A. Based on leaked render images from Android Headlines, this device will have a nearly flat camera module with a body, different from the modern smartphone design which usually has a large camera bulge.
Leaks show that the Pixel 9A camera module is almost parallel to the device's body. However, this design decision appears to have an impact on the camera specifications. The Pixel 9A will reportedly use a 48MP main sensor, smaller than the 64MP used in the Pixel 8A.
In addition, this device still maintains 13MP ultrawide cameras and 13MP front cameras, which will most likely offer high-quality photos despite a decline in key sensor resolutions.
Despite having a slimmer camera module, the Pixel 9A is rumored to have the largest battery ever in the Pixel line, with a capacity of 5,100mAh. This capacity is even bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra battery which is valued at 1,299 US dollars (Rp21.2 million), while the Pixel 9A itself will be priced starting from 499 US dollars (Rp8.1 million).
