Reviewing Free Health Checks At Samarinda Health Center, Vice President Gibran Greeted Patients And Medical Personnel
SAMARINDA - Vice President (Vice President) Gibran Rakabuming Raka visited the Youth Health Center, Sungai Pinang Dalam Village, Samarinda, East Kalimantan to review the implementation of the Free Health Check Program (CKG).
"During his visit, Gibran had the opportunity to see the CKG service flow from registration to examination," said Head of the Youth Health Center Siti Mardiah Thahir after accompanying Vice President Gibran who came with Selvi Ananda's wife in Samarinda, Antara, Wednesday, January 12.
He explained that the CKG Program provides priority services to elderly patients and patients with the risk of certain diseases.
"Although CKG patients are on average healthy, they could be elderly people who have a heart risk and so on," said Siti.
It appears that Vice President Gibran also interacts with patients and medical personnel in the examination room. He looks enthusiastic about the CKG examination process, especially in the elderly.
"The vice president saw the medical record examination room and gave a message to maintain health to the patients," said Siti.
In addition, the Vice President also took the time to visit Child Poli. Siti Mardiah revealed that the Vice President was happy because 26 health centers in Samarinda already had heart and ultrasound records.
"Alhamdulillah, with the support of all parties, local government ranks, and the health office, it seems that he is pleased with the existing services," said Siti.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Samarinda City Health Office (Dinkes) Ismed Kosasih explained that the CKG Program in Samarinda had been running since February 10. He said all puskesmas in Samarinda were ready to carry out this program.
Ismed added that the CKG Program does not only include physical examinations, but also laboratory and dental examinations in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes).

"We are also intensively socializing this program through the media, sub-districts, villages, and all levels of society," said Ismed.
He acknowledged that the public's enthusiasm for the CKG Program still needed to be improved. However, he hopes that the target of 20-30 CKG participants per day can be achieved.
