Budget Efficiency, Supreme Court Reveals Court Services Are Affected, Including Mobile Sessions
JAKARTA - Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Sugiyanto did not deny that court services would be affected by the efficiency of the 2025 budget, including the implementation of mobile trials outside the court building.
"Yes, including the mobile session, we can only carry out part of it, not according to the program we have determined. Yes, of course, service in the regions or in every place cannot be fulfilled, it means that it cannot be maximized because with a budget whose terms are reduced or blocked, or the name is efficiency," said Sugiyanto. met after attending a working meeting of Commission III DPR RI at the parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, February 12, confiscated by Antara.
However, he said that the efficiency of the 2025 Supreme Court's budget had no impact on the spending of judges in the country.

Previously during the meeting, Sugiyanto explained that the total budget for the 2025 Supreme Court which was blocked was IDR 2,288,100,000,000, out of the total 2025 Supreme Court budget allocation ceiling of IDR 12,684,119,652,000.
"The details of the Supreme Court's budget for Fiscal Year 2025 as of February 11, 2025 have realized a budget of Rp1,462,060,218,817 or around 11.53 percent of the budget ceiling allocation, while the remaining budget of 88.47 percent or Rp11,222,059,433,183 is still in the progress of implementation," he said.
As for the total 2025 MA budget that was blocked amounting to Rp2,288,100,000,000, he detailed that the amount consisted of blocking supporting data of Rp. 104,150,170,000, blocking efficiency of Rp. 1,930,466,795,000, to blocking official travel of Rp. 253,483,035,000.

Regarding the blocking of official travel, he said that this had a profound impact on the Supreme Court. Among other things, the judge's transportation assistance is only enough for up to six months; and the absence of official trips abroad.
Until, he continued, the integrated services of the mobile court of the district court (PN), religious courts, syar'iyah courts were only sufficient for up to six months, and the military court was only sufficient to be held once a year.
"Overall, the total blocking efficiency of IDR 2,288,100,000,000 with details of the efficiency of goods expenditure of IDR 1,194,600,000,000 sourced from pure rupiah, as well as the efficiency of capital expenditure of IDR 1,093,500,000,000 sourced from pure rupiah," he explained.
Related to this, he also said that the Supreme Court had planned a number of steps to support budget efficiency. Among other things, reducing meeting activities outside the office, seminars, ceremonies and the like.
