Paula Verhoeven Submits Evidence, Baim Wong Questions Authenticity
JAKARTA - Baim Wong's attorney, Fahmi Bachmid, tried to respond to the evidence submitted by Paula Verhoeven at their divorce trial. Fahmi said that at the trial Paula could not provide any proof of her origin.
The reason is that the evidence submitted is only a screenshot of the conversation on WhatsApp.
"So, in the law, every time you apply for evidence, there must be comparative evidence. The comparative evidence is proof of origin," explained Fahmi Bachmid at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Wednesday, February 12.
"So the origin of the evidence or an easier language must be matched with the original," he continued.
Fahmi said that the panel of judges finally allowed Paula's side to submit genuine evidence at the next trial.
"Earlier, all the evidence could not be shown its authenticity or the original evidence did not exist or the comparison was not shown to the panel of judges," explained Fahmi.
