The Indonesian Navy Continues To Unload Sea Pagar In Tangerang Up To 24.9 Km
JAKARTA - The Indonesian National Army (TNI) of the Navy (AL) continues efforts to demolish the sea fence in the waters of the north coast (Pantura), Tangerang Regency, Banten. The demolition reached 24.9 kilometers (km) from a total fence of 30.16 km.
Head of the Navy Information Service, First Admiral I Made Wira Hady, said that the demolition of the sea fence, which started this morning, reached 24.9 km with details of 2.4 km in the Tanjung Pasir area, Tangerang.
"With the achievements made today, out of a total of 30.16 KM of sea fences in the Tangerang area, only 5.26 KM remains that have not been uncovered," he said in a written statement, Wednesday, February 12, which was confiscated by Antara.
He explained that the implementation of the demolition of the sea fence this time was only carried out in the waters of Tanjung Pasir, while in the Kronjo area it was not carried out due to weather factors. Where, strong winds and high waves that occurred in the area became an obstacle for the team to carry out demolition.
