Held A Briefing, PDIP Wants The Elected Regional Head From Its Party To Be Ready To Face Retreatment In Magelang

The PDI-P (PDIP) DPP held a briefing to elected regional heads carried by their parties in the 2024 Pilkada. This first batch of supplies was attended by regional heads who were elected for the first time.

PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said that one of the purposes of this briefing was carried out so that elected regional heads had prepared provisions in undergoing regional head treatment at the Magelang Military Academy, Central Java.

It is planned that President Prabowo Subianto will gather elected regional heads in the first batch of retreats on February 21-28, 2025. The retreat was carried out after the regional head was sworn in on February 20.

"This is also a briefing so that later when receiving direction and galvanization from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto and all levels of state government that will be held in Magelang. So, all elected regional heads and deputy regional heads already have provisions in a conception to form our country," said Hasto at the PDIP DPP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, February 12.

Hasto emphasized that all regional heads must be able to carry out a vision and mission that is binding with the President and Vice President because it is bound by law.

The elected regional head who was promoted by PDIP, emphasized Hasto, must also carry out work programs based on vision and mission in line with the outline of party vision and mission.

"With this, it must be distinguished between an electoral process and awareness of the governance of the state which is regulated by the constitution. With this briefing, there will be mutual integration," explained Hasto.

The outline of the vision and mission of the PDIP, explained by the Chairman of the PDIP DPP Djarot Saiful Hidayat, guided by the intellectual traditions of President Soekarno.

Bung Karno, continued Djarot, has compiled a Universal Development Pattern Planning with experts. PDIP wants elected regional heads to be able to express the idea into a work program in their respective regions.

"We want to convey that we have made this, and this is all translated into the vision and mission of regional heads carried by the PDI-P. So that all synergies are synergized to be able to realize the goals of an independent Indonesia," said Djarot.

PDIP briefing was attended by 142 elected regional heads in the 2024 Pilkada, both at the provincial and district/city levels ahead of the inauguration. The first wave of briefing was attended by the first elected regional head. Meanwhile, the incumbent will receive the next batch of briefings.

Of the 142 elected regional heads who received the first batch of briefings, the majority or as many as 71 people were internal cadres. Then, as many as 45 people came from ASN or bureaucrats, 23 from businessmen or private circles, 1 person with a TNI/Polri background, and 2 academics.
