SKK Migas Boss Admits He Has Given SP-1 To Inpex
JAKARTA - Head of the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) Djoko Siswanto revealed that his party had given a Commemoration Letter 1 (SP-1) to Inpex Masela Ltd as a Cooperation Contract Contract Contractor (KKKS) which holds the right of participation or participation (PI) for Masela's working area.
"Yes (given SP-1)," said Djoko when confirmed by the media crew, Tuesday, February 11.
Djoko added, with the warning letter, his party hopes that Inpex can immediately carry out gas production activities. Djoko said that his party is also waiting for gas buyers to be produced so that the project can start immediately.
"Yes, it is hoped that there will be a buyer of gas soon so that the project can start. This year!" he said briefly.
On a separate occasion, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia confirmed that he had brought down SP 1 to the KKKS operator of the giant oil and gas working area.

Without mentioning names, Bahlil threatened to revoke the permit that Inpex had narrowed if he did not raise the status of the Masela Block. The reason, he said, is that this giant oil and gas block has stalled for 26 years and has not produced.
"There is one working area that has been 26 years old, has found one of the largest gas, but its status has not been raised. I have made a first warning letter. Second, (if) I can't anymore, I will withdraw. This is big, and this will definitely be an uproar," explained Bahlil.
