2025 MotoGP Test Schedule In Buriram

JAKARTA The 2025 MotoGP still leaves one more test before the new season begins at the end of the month. The test will take place this week.

On the official MotoGP website, the final test of the prestigious duni motorcycle racing event will take place Wednesday-Thursday, February 12-13, 2025, at Chang International Circuit, Buriram, Thailand.

This is the last chance for the team to test their motor performance before the new season begins at the same circuit on February 28, 2025 to March 2, 2025.

However, defending champion from Spain, Jorge Martin, is certain to be absent from the test because he has not recovered after undergoing surgery.

The 27-year-old racer had two accidents in a test in Sepang last week and had to return to Europe. He had broken bones in his hands and feet.

Passing the test in Buriram means the Spaniard will enter the season opening round in the same place with a capital only completing 13 laps on the 2025 pre-season test.

Martin's absence has made test racer Lorenzo Savadori take over the test assignment in Buriram later. Martin is one of three riders who missed the Sepang test.

The other two names are Fabio at Giannantonio (VR46) and Raul Fernandez (Trackhouse). However, the last name will certainly appear in Buriram tomorrow.

On the other hand, the test at Buriram is very important for Ducati Factory duo, Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia. The reason is, their motorbike Desmosedici GP25 still has a balance problem.

Interestingly, this problem was not felt when using the GP24 used by Alex Marquez to Franco Morbidelli.
