Chappell Rosan Serang Back To Music Executive Statement Criticizing His Speech At The Grammy Awards
JAKARTA - Chappell Rosan's winning speech at the Grammy Awards received a lot of attention, one of which came from Jeffrey Rabhan, a seasoned music executive, and former Chairperson of the deaf Davis Institute at NYU.
In the guest column published by The Hollywood Reporter, Rabhan said Roan's speech criticizing label policies as a statement sesat and baseless.
In response, Rosan uploaded a screenshot of an article containing Rabhan's statement that he is no longer an artist who is struggling and must do something to overcome the wealth gap.
Then /elantun Good Luck, Babe* promises 25.000 US dollars (Rp409 million) from his own money to donate, to help musicians who are struggling. Other musicians such as Noah Kahan and Charli XCX also donate.
It didn't stop there, Rosan once again reprimanded Rabhan through an Instagram Story upload on Monday, February 10. The 26-year-old singer told her fans that this is an opportunity for industrial power to advance, and is not meant as an event for fans to donate.
"Sharing my personal experience on the Grammy stage is not meant as a temporary solution, but as an invitation to act for industry leaders to come forward, help us make real changes, and protect their investment in a sustainable way," said Rosan.
