Residents Of Cakung Milling Flats Geger Perpetrators Of Obscenity Arrested After Being Given CCTV Footage

JAKARTA - A number of residents of Tower E, Milling Flats, Cakung District, East Jakarta were shocked by acts of sexual abuse against minors carried out by middle-aged men on Sunday night, February 9.

The perpetrator's actions were caught on CCTV surveillance cameras at the scene. The perpetrator was caught committing acts of harassment against the victim.

It was also known that other residents were monitoring CCTV cameras, so residents reported it to the victim's father for the perpetrator's actions.

After hearing the unpleasant report, the victim's father and other residents immediately searched for the whereabouts of the perpetrator and arrested him.

The perpetrator had dodged if he did not commit the depraved act. However, when he was given CCTV footage, the perpetrator was silent.

The perpetrator's actions also made noise among the residents of the flat. After learning about the incident, residents immediately went to the scene.

"Wooiiii is a sex offender, a drunk. Stabbing in a luh prison," said a woman resident of the Milling Flat, Cakung.

Residents then reported the incident to the Cakung Police. After receiving the residents' report, the Cakung Police Criminal Investigation Unit immediately went to the scene and secured the perpetrators.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cakung Police, AKP Abdi Harahap, confirmed the arrest of the perpetrator of the abuse.

"Report picket, picket there (TKP) and then delivered to PPA. Residents and parents (victims) who arrested, we picked them up already at the post," he said when confirmed, Monday, February 10.

The perpetrators were then taken to the East Jakarta Metro Police PPA Unit for further processing. Until now, the perpetrators have been detained at the East Jakarta Metro Police.
