Trump Wants To Take Over Gaza, German Chancellor: Scandal, Very Bad Statement
JAKARTA - German Chancellor Olaf Scholz assessed "convex" regarding the US President's plan, Donald Trump to take over Gaza and move Palestinians from the region.
Trump kekekeuh memindahkan warga Palestina dari Gaza ke negara-negara lain dan membangunnya menjadi kawasan baru bernama 'Riviera Timur Tengah'
"A scandal. In addition, a very bad statement, given the extent of the damage that is now visible there," Scholz said, quoted from AFP, Monday, February 10.
Scholz said this in a pre-election German debate broadcast on public television ARD and ZDF. He stressed that relocating residents from Gaza is unacceptable and violates international law.

Scholz's opponents in this German election, Friedrich Merz agreed. However, in the debate, Merz assessed that there were other rhetoric related to Trump's plan.
"However, one of a series of proposals coming from the American government is certainly confusing, but we have to wait and see what is really meant seriously and how it is implemented there may be a lot of rhetoric in this," Merz said.
Scholz then went on to spread his promise that if elected he would ensure the European Union continued to unite. Including, he said, Germany would use a diplomatic strategy to respond to the Panama and Greenland Canal Trump wants to annex.
He also emphasized the importance of European unity by inviting European countries to work on proposals to increase NATO's presence in Greenland.
