Even Though Jakarta Is Raining, BPBD Ensures There Will Be No Flood Inundation This Afternoon
JAKARTA - Rain with moderate intensity that hit Jakarta and its surrounding areas has not yet resulted in flood inundation on Monday, February 10, noon.
Even the rest of the flood inundation that had hit the Pluit area, North Jakarta on Sunday, February 9, was declared to have receded.
"The BPBD noted that until Monday, February 10 at 11.45 WIB, all inundation in the DKI Jakarta area had receded," said Head of the DKI Jakarta BPBD Pusdatin, Mohamad Yohan when confirmed by VOI.
Meanwhile, the Fish Market floodgates are currently in a standby position 2 due to high tides.
The puddle that occurred in coastal areas, continued Yohan, was due to the phenomenon of maximum tides in conjunction with the New Moon phase.
