3 Kg Gas Stock In South Sumatra Is Safe, DPR Asks Pertamina To Intensify Sub-Pangkalan Socialization
JAKARTA - Chairman of Commission XII DPR RI, Bambang Patijaya, asked Pertamina to be more active in conducting socialization regarding sub-baselines, in line with the re-allowing the sale of 3 kilograms of LPG (elpiji) gas at the retail level.
This was conveyed by Bambang after conducting an inspection of the 3 kg LPG agents and bases in Pangkalpinang City on Sunday, February 9. The inspection aims to ensure the smooth distribution and availability of 3 kg LPG gas in the field.
In this activity, Bambang was accompanied by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, including Reion Manager Retail Sales Sumbagsel, Dressatto Nandiwardhana, and Sales Area Manager for the Bangka Belitung area, Andrew Wisnuwardhana.
Also present were Deputy Chair I of the Babel DPRD, Eddy Iskandar, and members of the Pangkalpinang City DPRD, Zupriadi and Feri Sardani. In addition, the Head of Trade of the Pangkalpinang City Industry and Trade Office, Sofi, also accompanied him.
In his statement to reporters, Bambang emphasized that this inspection is part of the DPR's supervisory function to ensure that LPG distribution runs smoothly and the selling price in the community is in accordance with the Highest Retail Price (HET) that has been set.
"The 3 kg LPG distribution went well, and the price received by the community at the base was in accordance with the HET," said Bambang on Monday, February 10.
As a legislator from the Golkar faction of the Bangka Belitung electoral district, Bambang also highlighted the development of sub-base formation as part of the distribution chain of 3 kg LPG.
According to him, the existence of sub-baselines aims to shorten the distribution route, so that it is easier for people to get subsidized LPG gas at a reasonable price.
"This sub-base will bring official sales points closer to the community, so that they can get 3 kg LPG gas more easily and prices in accordance with subsidy provisions," he explained.
Therefore, Bambang appealed to Pertamina to be more intensive in conducting socialization and approach to retailers. This is important so that the public understands the objectives of the policies implemented by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia.
"Pertamina Patra Niaga must intensively disseminate socialization and approach to retailers so that they and the public understand the purpose of the arrangement carried out by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, especially regarding the formation of sub-basement," he said.
Meanwhile, Region Manager of Retail Sales Pertamina Patra Niaga Sumbagsel, Dressatto Nandiwardhana, ensured that the LPG gas supply of 3 kg in the South Sumatra region was safe.
