Different From Agnez Mo, Ari Bias Reveals Singers Who Are Cooperative In Paying Royalties
JAKARTA - As a songwriter, Ari Bias not only gave up his song to be sung by Agnez Mo. He also wrote a song performed by another singer.
The Elkasih frontman said that the big name in the Indonesian music industry, such as Kris Dayanti, is a cooperative singer to pay royalties.
He even said that the diva wanted to pay a sum of money through direct license, which is a licensing system and payment for live events royalties used by Ari together with members of the All-Indonesian Composter Association (AKSI).
"There are some. Kris Dayanti (paid royalties from) many of her concerts in Kuala Lumpur and Indonesia. And there is Reza Artamevia too," said Ari Bias when contacted by the media crew recently.
Furthermore, Ari said Kris Dayanti's management also paid royalties during the appearance of the 49-year-old singer at Synchronize Fest.

"So, there are concerts that have paid royalties, Synchronize Fest, there are other concerts that pay me, Kris Dayanti's management yes," he said.
Dengan penerapan direct license, kata Ari, dia menetapkan satuan harga, meskipun nilainya masih bisa dinegotiasikan.
"And actually the figure of Rp. 5 million per song that I asked for, I didn't have to do that," said Ari.
"For example, someone asked for negotiations and there are also those who are still promo, there is no job yet, so I definitely free it. It's impossible for people to ask for royalties again," he concluded.
