Allegations Of Extortion Of Prodia Boss's Son, 3 Police Fired And 2 Demosi
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has finished holding the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) session regarding the alleged extortion of Prodia's boss's son. As a result, three policemen were sentenced to dismissal or PTDH, including the former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Bintoro.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said that from the results of the trial, the five police officers were believed to have violated the abuse of authority.
"Brother B has accepted PTDH's decision," said Ade to reporters, Monday, February 10.
For the two policemen who were also sanctioned for dismissal, namely AKP Zakaria, always the former Head of Resmob Satreskrim and AKP Mariana, the former Head of PPA Satreskrim.
Meanwhile, AKBP Gogo Galesung and Ipda Novian Dimas were sentenced to 8 years of demotion with a note that they were not placed in the field of law enforcement or detective.
"The five alleged violators rejected and filed an appeal against the verdict," said Ade.
Previously, Kompolnas Commissioner Choirul Anam said at the KKEP trial that the value of extortion or receipt of money was revealed. AKBP Bintoro is said to have received more than Rp. 100 million.
"Approximately not far from the figure circulating being born in the public. Not the beginning of Rp20 (billion), Rp5 (billion) Rp17 (billion) of various things, yes the figure is not like that figure, yes Rp100 (million) more," said Anam.

However, the nominal amount that AKBP Bintoro received in the series of extortions or receipts of bribes, Anam said it must be clarified again. This is because the money giver was not present as a witness so that the truth could not be ascertained.
"Whether it's the correct number or not, it can't be clarified again, but the numbers that appear at the rich trial are like that," he said.
Meanwhile, AKBP Bintoro is suspected of extorting two suspects in the murder case, namely Arif Nugroho (AN) alias Bastian 'son of the owner of the Prodia laboratory clinic network and Muhammad Bayu Hartanto.
