The Victims Of The Ship Fire At Marina Ancol Pier Are ABK And The Driver Of The Fuel Tank

The fire that hit two KM Tenggiri ships at Pier 20 Marina, Jalan Dermaga Marina 20, Ancol Village, Pademangan District, North Jakarta, was successfully extinguished on Sunday, February 9 at around 05.28 WIB.

"Currently it has been extinguished, it can be handled by officers. The burns victims came from the crew and the tank driver," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Gulkarmat Service, Satriadi Gunawan when confirmed.

The area of the object burned is about 160 square meters. Meanwhile, the total material loss due to the ship fire reached Rp 6 billion.

The process of extinguishing the fire lasted for 7 hours until finally the fire was extinguished by firefighters.

"The cause of the fire on the KM Tenggiri ship was due to sparks. When filling the ship's fuel, there was a technical error, causing a fire," he said.

Previously, it was reported that two ships at Pier 20, Jalan Dermaga Marina 20, Ancol Village, Pademangan District, North Jakarta, were burned on Saturday night, February 8.

In the fire incident, one person named Tomi was declared dead.
