Searches For Four Missing Victims Of Bima Flash Flood Extended
JAKARTA - The search for four missing victims was swept away by flash floods in Nanga Wera Village, Wera District, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), which will be extended for the next three days.
"The search operation will be extended for the next three days," said Bima SAR Post Coordinator (Danpos) Muhammad Darwis to ANTARA at Wera Bima, Sunday.
According to him, the extension of the search for victims of the missing flood was carried out at the request of their families and residents. In accordance with the SOP, the search process will be carried out for the next three days.
"According to our SOP, it was only seven days. However, because it was in accordance with the request from the local government, the victim's family, the SAR operation was extended for the next three days," he said.
"This extension starts today (Sunday, ed) and will be stopped on Tuesday (11/2)," Darwis continued.
The process of searching for victims, continued Darwis, his party was assisted by the TNI, Polri, Airud Police, BPBD, Tagana, a combination of nature lovers, Muhammadiyah volunteers, other volunteers and the surrounding community.

It is known that until the eighth day of the flash flood disaster in Wera District, there were still four people missing by the current. The four people were Suryani with her son named Haikal aged 3 years, her in-laws aged 75 years and Irgi eight months his son, the late Juliani.
Meanwhile, four other people have been found and buried in their respective villages. The four victims, one person named Juliani (32) was found in the Long Beach waters of Padar Island, Komodo District, NTT. One person named Aisah (5) the child of the missing victim named Suryani. Next, Hermawati (40) from Wora and Burhan Villages (50), a resident of Nunggi Village who was hit by a landslide.
