Scavengers Find Men Lying On The Kelapa Gading Sidewalk, Jakut

JAKARTA - A man with the initials MM was found injured on the side of the Kelapa Gading road, North Jakarta (Jakut). MM is suspected of being a victim of a motorcycle hit and run on the road.

Kelapa Gading Police Chief, Kompol Seto Handoko said the incident was known to have occurred on Friday, February 7, in the early hours of the morning.

"(The victim) was found on the sidewalk on the edge of the fence of the Al Musyawarah Kelapa Gading Mosque, North Jakarta. The temporary hit-and-run information," Seto said when confirmed, Friday, February 7.

Seto also explained that the incident was first discovered by a scavenger who was about to pass at the scene.

"The victim is not yet aware that the Koja Hospital and the victim's family have arrived," he said.

The case is currently under investigation, to determine the exact cause of the victim lying on the highway.

"Still under investigation," he concluded.
