Pinterest Projects 2025 First Quarter Revenue Increases Thanks To Adoption Of AI Advertising Equipment

JAKARTA Pinterest, a photo and video distribution platform, seems confident with the first quarter of revenue this year. According to the company, their revenue could exceed the target.

This confidence arose because they managed to break the record for monthly active users and the best revenue in the fourth quarter of last year. In addition, the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based advertising tools has succeeded in increasing advertising spending.

Many advertisers use Performance+ or other AI advertising tools to better target users thanks to automation features. As a result, Pinterest shares rose 19 percent in advanced trading.

"Our strategy paid off. People are increasingly visiting Pinterest, this platform has never been this easy," CEO Bill Ready said in a statement.

This achievement is supported by an increase in generation Z (Gen Z) users, according to the company's target. Since the first quarter of 2022, Pinterest's monthly active user figure has continued to increase and now the number has reached 553 million.

This figure exceeds the company's estimation and is up 11 percent from last year. In line with the large number of Pinterest visitors, this platform has succeeded in attracting more users thanks to new content and features.

Pinterest is also working with more companies to integrate its platform with several services. For example, traders at Shopify e-commerce or Adobe Commerce meetings using special extensions offered by Pinterest.
