Police Investigate Gay Party At One Of The Kemang Area Hotels Held Routinely
JAKARTA - The police are investigating allegations of a male same-sex party held at a M Hotel in the Kemang area, South Jakarta (Jaksel).
Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Nurma Dewi admitted, based on the initial investigation, it did lead to the party. However, this is still being investigated to ensure the truth.
"It has been checked, it is true (the male group). But the terap must be investigated," said Nurma when confirmed, Friday, February 7.
The alleged gay party was held at a hotel in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, detected through an e-flyer that has been circulating on social media lately.
The results of VOI's monitoring some time ago at the hotel, it was true that a party called the NPNC (Now Party Near Closet) was held routinely every week.

However, to participate in the party, prospective visitors must register with the hotel first.
"The registration process is like this to enter a party held by our side. The goal is to make it easier for ordinary visitors when entering before being given a bracelet," said a VOI source.
The source Nara also said that the special gay event is usually filled with their respective partners.
"They will not be seen or impressed as gay when met below. It can be clearly known when they are on the dance floor while dancing with their partner. That's the reason the theme used is closed," he said.
