Minister Of MSMEs Opens Opportunities For MSME Market Access To Malaysia
JAKARTA - Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Maman Abdurrahman emphasized the need to expand opportunities for partnership patterns and access to the MSME market to Malaysia to encourage MSME entrepreneurs to be able to compete in regional and global markets.
The Minister of MSMEs accompanied by Deputy Minister of MSMEs Helvi Moraza received a visit from Deputy Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Minister of Sarawak Datuk Snow and Opponents at the SMESCO Indonesia Building, Jakarta, Thursday, February 6.
"Through this visit, we hope that there will be an expansion of the MSME market abroad, especially to the Serawak and Kuching areas in Malaysia and even to Brunei," said Maman, quoted on Friday, February 7.
Maman continued, related to increasing MSME capacity, it can also be collaborated through production technology innovation to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs.
"For now, the list of potential MSMEs is still being mapped, hopefully this cooperation opportunity can provide benefits for the MSME sectors of Indonesia and Malaysia," he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Minister of Sarawak Datuk Snow and Opponent, hopes to create good cooperation between Indonesia and Malaysia through the TEE.F.DEE event which is planned to be held in August 2025.
"Yesterday we came to Inacraft and were very impressed. Honestly, we want to learn how Indonesia can build the industry," said Datuk Snowdan Lawan.
