Deputy Chairperson Of Duma Asks For WHO Activities In Russia To Be Investigated
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Pyotr Tolstoy in his upload on Telegram wrote that the activities of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Russia require a thorough investigation.
"It's time to conduct a thorough investigation into WHO operations in Russia," he wrote, quoted from TASS February 6.
"During this investigation, Russia's membership should at least be suspended. In the end, it might be better for us to withdraw completely," he said.
Furthermore, Tolstoy shows that the United States is the organization's main sponsor.
"After the US, the Bill Foundation and Melinda Gates are in third place in terms of donations. Gavi, a vaccine alliance that has been heavily influenced by the Gates Foundation over the past decade, is in fourth place, having invested more than $4 billion," Tolstoy explained.
He noted that Gavi's partners include the World Bank and various vaccine manufacturers.
"With the withdrawal of Uncle Sam's country from WHO, its main supporters are likely to become an organization affiliated with Bill Gates," he added.
