Foreign Minister Sugiono UU-ABC Law Increases Economic Activities To Investment In Indonesia
JAKARTA - Foreign Minister Sugiono reiterated the commitment of the Indonesian government in the field of cooperation when receiving an EU-ASEAN Business Council (EU-ABC) visit on Thursday, inviting them to increase their economic activity in the country.
On this occasion, Foreign Minister Sugiono discussed the importance of closer government-private partnerships between Indonesia, ASEAN and the European Union.
"The Indonesian government is committed to continuing to facilitate downstream cooperation, investment, trade, energy and food security, as well as human resource development," said Foreign Minister Sugiono in a statement from the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thursday, February 6.
Furthermore, the Indonesian Foreign Minister invited EU-ABC to increase economic activity, investment and business in Indonesia.
Foreign Minister Sugiono also invited the role of the private sector to realize various priorities for Indonesia's sustainable and mutually beneficial development.
The Indonesian Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of partnerships to improve people's welfare and alleviate poverty.
It is known, Indonesia under the Government of President Prabowo Subianto is trying to coordinate and synchronize all economic diplomacy efforts.
In the Annual Press Statement of the Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs (PPTM) on January 10, Foreign Minister Sugiono revealed the establishment of the Directorate General of Economic Relations and Development Cooperation (HEKSP). This is to coordinate and strengthen Indonesian diplomacy.

"We hope that the formation of this new Directorate General of Directorate General will achieve harmony with President Prabowo's vision," said Foreign Minister Sugiono at the time.
It is known that the EU-ABC delegation consisted of 12 (twelve) people and was led by the Chairman of the EU-ASEAN Business Council, Managing Director & Regional Head of Asia Pacific Jens Reubbert.
