Pertamina Adds 8,400 3 Kg LPG Tubes In Bali, Price Is IDR 18 Thousand

Pertamina Patra Niaga has allocated an additional 8,400 tubes or equivalent to 25.2 metric tons (MT) of 3 kg subsidized LPG gas on the island of Bali, especially in the districts of Badung, Denpasar City and Gianyar Regency.

The addition of this allocation is given to anticipate an increase in the needs of the community which is quite high in the regency and city areas in Bali.

Area Manager of Communication & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus, Ahad Rahedi, said that this step was taken following the increasing needs of the community.

"Overall, the additional 8,400 3 kg LPG cylinders allocated in February increased by around 13.6 percent of the total daily distribution in Bali by 61,600 tubes," said Sunday in a written statement, Thursday, February 6.

"If the public sees the queue at the LPG base in the last few days, this additional 3 kg LPG supply is given to ensure that at the Pertamina LPG's official base 3 kg subsidized still exists for the people who are entitled," he said.

Meanwhile, the additional 3 kg subsidized LPG allocation was distributed to the Badung, Denpasar and Gianyar areas on Wednesday (5/2) with an allocation of 3,360 3 kg LPG cylinders for Denpasar City at 29 bases.

Then Badung Regency 3,360 tubes at 26 bases and Gianyar Regency as many as 1,680 tubes at 19 bases to meet the needs of the people in these areas.

He said the allocation in the Badung, Denpasar and Gianyar areas was the largest compared to other areas in Bali. This is due to the growth factor of micro-business actors and the density of indigenous and migrants centralized in the area.

In addition, Pertamina has distributed these additional facultatives through Pertamina's official LPG bases in accordance with the quota set in each region.

"We can convey that currently, 3 kg LPG stock security in nine cities or regencies in Bali Province is relatively safe. Stock security in Bali is around 604 metric tons or equivalent to 201,202 3 kg LPG cylinders subsidized. 3 kg LPG products are available at Pertamina's official base and the price is also confirmed in accordance with the provisions set by the government," he explained.

"We urge the public to buy 3 kg LPG at Pertamina's official base because apart from the guaranteed stock, the price is ensured according to the provisions set by the government, the lowest retail price (HET) is IDR 18,000," said Sunday.
