The Constitutional Court Immediately Writes To The KPU After The Dismissal Decision Of The Regional Head Election Dispute

JAKARTA - The Constitutional Court immediately sent a letter to the KPU after the decision was handed down or not (for example) the dispute over the results of the regional head election or the 2024 regional election dispute was pronounced.

"The MK immediately sent a letter to the KPU, in accordance with the verdict of each case," said Head of the Public Relations and Protocol Bureau of the Constitutional Court Pan Mohamad Faiz as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, February 6.

According to Faiz, this was rushed because the KPU needed a letter from the Court to determine the elected candidate pair. That way, pairs of candidates who are no longer in dispute in the Constitutional Court can be sworn in immediately.

The Court has also sent copies of the verdict to litigants. A copy of the verdict is also uploaded to the Constitutional Court's official website so that it can be accessed not only by the parties, but also by the public.

If there are parties who need a copy of the verdict, it is sent via email (surel) or can download (download) on the Constitutional Court website, including the public and the public. So, all of that is open to decisions and can be read or used for stakeholders," said Faiz.

The Constitutional Court has submitted a dismissal case for the 2024 Pilkada dispute on Tuesday (4/2) and Wednesday (5/2). As a result, 40 cases continued to the trial stage, the evidence and 270 other cases ran aground.

A total of 270 cases that ended in aground consisted of 227 cases decided unacceptable, 29 cases were decided to be withdrawn, eight cases were declared dead, and six cases were determined not under the authority of the Court.
