According to him, after an investigation, his party will take steps to determine what are the shortcomings and procedural errors of the viral Satpol PP personnel.

Parinringi explained that related to the beatings that were circulating in the video, his party handed the case over to law enforcement officials (APH) to follow up.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Kendari City Satpol PP Muhammad Ewa revealed that the beatings began because traders who had often been banned from selling on the streets.

"Because their existence often disturbs road users. They have even been taken to the office and made statements not to sell again, but the statement was ignored," said Ewa.

He explained that the incident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon began when members of the Kendari City Satpol PP went back to the streets to convey that they should not sell on the streets.

However, said Ewa, after Satpol PP personnel left the place, they came back to sell on the streets, even a young cracker seller invited Satpol PP personnel to duel (fight).

"And it was broken down, it turned out that he (the young man selling crackers) was the first to beat him as seen in the video," he said.
