Losing In The Pilkada, Makassar Mayor Danny Pomanto Will Report 5 Members Of The South Sulawesi KPU To The KPK
Makassar Mayor Moh Ramdhan Pomanto will report five members of the South Sulawesi General Election Commission to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) regarding the alleged bribery.
"That's the first (preparation), the second is the case of forgery of signatures, we have reported it to the police, as well as the DKPP (Ection Organizer Honorary Board). So, to be complete, we also report it to the KPK so that nothing can be done (cheating)," said Ramdhan as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 5.
Regarding the material reported regarding the alleged bribery of the election organizers to the KPK, the man who is familiarly called Danny Pomanto did not want to divulge for certain reasons.
As a contestant for governor in the 2024 South Sulawesi Pilkada with his partner Azhar Arsyad, even though his lawsuit was decided that it could not be accepted by the panel of judges of the Constitutional Court, Danny said the dispute was normal in the world of politics.
"If the problem of losing wins, that's the second problem, because the winner is not necessarily true and even those who lose are not necessarily wrong," he explained.
Regarding when the alleged bribery report was brought to the KPK, Danny said that his party was compiling steps after the MK's dismissal decision regarding the South Sulawesi regional election dispute was resolved.
"After we found out the decision, the team immediately compiled the completeness of the report file and in the near future we will immediately report it to the KPK," he said.

Previously, the Constitutional Court (MK) decided on a dispute over the Election Result Dispute (PHP) of the South Sulawesi Regional Head Election which was proposed by candidate pair number 1 Moh Ramdhan Pomanto-Azhar Arsyad with the respondent of the South Sulawesi KPU and related parties declared unacceptable and not continued at the trial of evidence.
The South Sulawesi KPU has announced candidate pair number 2 Andi Sudirman Sulaiman-Fatmawati Rusdi received 3,014,255 votes and candidate pair number 1 Moh Ramdhan Pomanto-Azhar Arsyad collected 1,629,000 votes in the 2024 South Sulawesi Pilkada.
After the announcement of the results of the recapitulation of the vote acquisition, the legal team of Danny-Azhar pair represented by Muchtar Juma reported fraud during the simultaneous regional elections on suspicion of falsifying the signature of the presence of voters by KPPS officers at polling stations (TPS).
"For the initial sample, we have reported seven KPPS members at Polling Station 013, Maradekaya Village, Makassar District, Makassar City, as stipulated in Article 263 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) concerning the Crime of Counterfeiting Letters," he said.
Regarding the alleged bribery that will be reported to the KPK, the chairman of the South Sulawesi KPU Hasbullah has not responded when several attempts were confirmed.
