With Private Jets, Barbie Hsu Cremation Ash Arrives In Taiwan Today

JAKARTA - Barbie Hsu cremation ashes are reported to have arrived in Taiwan on Wednesday, February 5 afternoon. Barbie Hsu died on February 2 after developing pneumonia while on vacation with family in Japan.

Citing the Liberty Times, Barbie cremation ashes were brought in a private jet service from VistaJet at Haneda Airport, Japan on the same day. The ashes arrived at Songshan Airport, Taipei at 15.00 local time.

Barbie's core family, namely the mother, her biological brother Dee Hsu, and her husband, DJ Koo, are said to have returned to Taiwan along with their ashes.

The family plans to cremation in Japan before its ashes are brought to Taiwan. Wang Wei Zhong as a relative of Barbie Hsu's family represented his mother to speak to the public.

"The family is deeply saddened by Barbie's departure and we ask for your understanding as we cannot provide specific information at this time," said Wang Wei Zhong.

The process of bringing Barbie back to Taiwan requires complex procedures, so his family hasn't been able to return for a while. During his lifetime, Barbie was very worried about being highlighted by the media," Wang explained.

We ask that you do not take photos and chase your family when they return to Taiwan. This is their hope and we hope you can respect that decision," he said.

Apart from her family, her ex-husband Wang Xiao Fei also reportedly left for Taiwan on February 3. From her marriage to Wang, Barbie Hsu has two girls and a boy.

Barbie Hsu filed for Wang's divorce in November 2021 for reasons of infidelity and differences of political views. Three months later, Barbie married the DJ Koo she had been dating 20 years ago.
