Producer's Story Wants To Highlight Nirina Zubir Cs' Story In Ratu Ratu Queens Series

JAKARTA - Success with the film version, Palari Films in collaboration with Netflix brings the audience back to the Queen Ratu Queens story. This series is the latest collaboration between the production house and the OTT.

Queen Ratu Queens will take a setting 8 years before the Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens incident. The story will focus on the four main characters Queens who live in New York.

"Actually, when I first had inspiration to make the world Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens about four immigrant women. I once told you these 4 women are real figures I have met in Queens," said producer Muhammad Al-Zaidy on Wednesday, February 5.

Previously I went to 2015 with Gina S. Noer at that time to make and think exciting when a series was made. So the idea came first, "the story.

In addition to prequel, the series will be written by Andry Cung and Al-Zaidy as the main producers of this series. They also want the main characters to be an important role in this story.

"We think it's more appropriate because there are female characters with their respective journeys and become long films. Writing in serial format in 6 episodes," he explained again.

"Experiences that are loose adaptation but have great inspiration because we come from minors that are far from Indonesia but there are 4 women who are only a small part of the diaspora, not just Indonesia and not tkw," said Al-Zaidy.

He revealed that there was an adjustment to the film story which made the players have to adapt as well as the background of the story.

"Indeed, number one may be a bit more exciting because we film summers and bring more bright vibes and colorful while the film is more dramatic. We shoot less than a month or 3 weeks. We shoot 2 months," he said.

The Ratu Ratu Queens series is played by Nirina Zubir, Happy Salma, Tika Panggabean, Asri Welas and others. Ratu Ratu Queens will release this year on Netflix.
