Iwan Fals And His Wife Visited The South Jakarta Police Regarding Problems, Four Years Ago

JAKARTA - Virgiawan Listanto alias Iwan Fals visited the South Jakarta Metro Police on Monday, January 3 evening. Not alone, the 63-year-old musician came with his wife, Rosana Liestanto and also a lawyer, Andhika.

Iwan Fals explained that his arrival this time was in order to fulfill a summons from the police. He said there were legal problems that had not been resolved since 2021.

"Yes, fulfilling the call, in connection with the case four years ago, the details can be checked on each one's thumbs up (online)," said Iwan Fals.

Andhika added that his client had given information to investigators regarding the legal problems that were carried out.

"So Om Iwan and Mbak Ros have good intentions in attending the interview invitation to provide clarification and information needed by investigators, for cases that have been quite long, from 2021," said the attorney.

"Alhamdulillah, all the necessary information has been given, the rest we just have to wait," he added.

It is not clear whether Iwan and his wife were present as the reporter or the reported party.

The reason is, the legal case, which started in 2021, where there were problems related to the Indonesian organization (OI), made Iwan and his wife have to deal with Indra Bonaparte, who both parties reported to each other.

At that time, Rosana reported to Indra Bonaparte, for not accepting the accusation of having falsified the deed of establishment of OI.

Furthermore, Indra Bonaparte also made a report back on the allegations to the police.
