Patra Drilling Contractor Wins Net Profit Margin 4.31 Percent In 2024

PT Patra Drilling Contractor (PDC), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia, which is a member of Pertamina's Upstream Subholding, realized revenue (unaudited) of IDR 2.88 trillion with a net profit of IDR 124 billion and a net profit margin (NPM) of 4.31 percent in 2024.

"This achievement is not only about increasing from number to number, but it is proof that the strategy, steps and efforts to improve and innovation that we have carried out throughout 2024 are able to provide the best results," said President Director of PT Patra Drilling Contractor Faried Iskandar Dozyn quoting Antara.

Faried said that if you look at PDC's performance travel since 2022, the company has shown a consistent growth trend. In 2022, PDC posted revenue of IDR 2.71 trillion with net profit of IDR 92.4 billion and NPM 3.4 percent.

In 2023, revenue will increase to IDR 3.30 trillion with a net profit of IDR 113.6 billion, while NPM remains stable at 3.4 percent.

Although the 2024 revenue has decreased compared to 2023, said Faried, with various optimizations in several business lines, PDC is able to increase the achievement of NPM 2024 beyond 2023.

Regarding the achievement of NPM 2024 which could reach 4.31 percent, Faried said, this is a separate achievement, considering that so far PDC has never reached NPM up to 4 percent.

"This achievement is not only about increasing from number to number, but it is proof that our strategy, steps, and improvement and innovation efforts throughout 2024 are able to provide the best results," said Faried.

He revealed that in the 2025 Kick Off RKAP, this achievement was the result of optimization of PDC business units, especially from the Food & Lodging Services (FLS) and Heavy Transport Equipment Services (HTE) businesses.

In 2024, NPM FLS will reach 11.48 percent or 60 percent higher than the target of the Company's Work Plan and Budget (RKAP). The HTE NPM business unit reached 8.65 percent or 37 percent higher than the RKAP.

In the future, Faried hopes that PDC's performance achievements will be more brilliant by focusing on the FLS and HTE business.

"In 2025, of the two business units alone, PDC has a revenue target of IDR 893.3 billion. So, without neglecting other PDC business units, I hope we can achieve the 2025 RKAP target with the best efforts," said Faried.

Another achievement that PDC managed to make in 2024 was the success of maintaining safe working hours for six consecutive years, from 2018 to 37.7 million safe hours to be precise.

For this performance, PDC received appreciation and appreciation, one of which was from PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) for successfully completing the project safely and meeting the targets for the 2024 FE General Projects projects.

Faried said, "We are ready and optimistic to meet the 2025 target with several strategies that we have set, especially by continuing to prioritize competence, innovation, efficiency and sustainability".
