Congratulations! Lily Collins Welcomes The Birth Of Her First Child By Surrogacy

JAKARTA - Actress Lily Collins and her husband, Charlie McDowell, welcomed the birth of their first child through surrogacy. They shared this good news via Instagram while announcing the child's name.

"Welcome to our center of the world Tove Jane McDowell," wrote Lily Collins on Friday, January 31.

The Emily in Paris star also shared a photo of her child who was female and was in a bed that had been arranged under the name Tove on the edge.

"The words can't express gratitude to our surrogacy and everyone who helped us on the way. We love you," he continued.

Lily Collins and director Charlie McDowell got married in September 2021 as announced by the actress via Instagram.

"I never wanted to be someone more than your own, and now I can be your wife. On September 4, 2021, we officially belong to each other forever. I love you more than @charliemcdowell..." wrote Lily Collins.

Lily Collins is the daughter of musician Phil Collins while Charlie McDowell is the daughter of actress Mary Steenburgen and Malcolm McDowell. Their relationship came to light in 2019 when the two were in Paris filming the Emily in Paris series.

Then, they got engaged in 2020 where Collins shared a photo when he was proposed by Charlie via social media. They welcomed their first child through surrogacy or surrogate mother.
