BMW Introduces IX Facelift With Performance And Tempuh Distance More Impressive
JAKARTA - BMW has officially introduced a facelift to one of its electric vehicles, iX. The car comes with a different luxury with a more progressive design and carries high-end technology.
Launching from the official BMW Group website, Wednesday, January 29, the Sport Activity Vehicle (SAV) car has a striking design marked by a new grip and the presence of the BMW Iconic Glow as a new option.
In addition, the front lighting section such as daytime running lights (DRL) and sein lights are also changed with vertical elements. Then, the latest iX is equipped with an adaptive LED headlights consisting of a cornering light.
This German manufacturer also designed the front apron with a more sporty and elegant look. Just like other models, BMW iX also comes with M Sport Package which emphasizes the dynamic character of vehicles with firm lines.
BMW also presents other packages to this model such as 21- and 22-inch light-alloy rims available in four new variants. Meanwhile, 23-inch light-alloy rims are also offered combined with foam damping to reduce noise levels.
The model is now presented with new chassis and suspension arrangements in order to improve the performance of the driving system and change weight balance as a result of optimizing battery technology.
BMW iX suspension technology includes double-wishbone front doubles, five-link back doubles, and electric steering with Servotronic functions and variable ratios.
The interior offers modern luxury combined with the sporty element of the M Sport Package, consisting of the latest M multifunctional chair with microfiber/sensatec or leather materials as optional.
This package includes the steering wheel of M's skin, a two-color instrument panel with the M logo, a Dark Silver trim finisher, and a center console with a glossy black touch.
This one car is powered by a BMW Operating System 8.5, which is embedded in the BMW Curved Display. It offers more intuitive and sophisticated operation than previous versions.

The entire BMW iX lineup has carried the driving configuration of all xDrive wheels, thus providing responsive performance with greater power than before.
The iX xDrive45 variant now has 408 hp of power or an increase of 82 hp from the previous one, resulting in acceleration of 5.1 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. Type xDrive60 also experienced an increase in power of 21 hp to 544 hp which allowed it to run from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. Both have the highest speed which is limited to 200 km/hour.
BMW is now presenting iX with the M70 xDrive variant or the highest from other options. Supported by the BMW M mover who provided 659 hp and 1.100 Nm torque with My Mode Sport.
This gives the highest speed of up to 250 km/hour and is able to run from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
Speaking of range, the latest iX is offered in a 94.8 kWh battery for xDrive45 with a distance of up to 602 km, then 109.1 kWh at xDrive60 so that it can run up to 701 km, and 108.9 kWh at M70 xDrive which can run up to 600 km in full charge.
