Run The Presidential Instruction, DKI Provincial Government Ready To Save Regional Budget

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is ready to carry out Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 1 of 2025 concerning Expenditure Efficiency in the Implementation of the State Budget and Regional Budget for Fiscal Year 2025.

Acting (Pj) Governor of DKI Jakarta Province Teguh Setyabudi explained that the derivative of the inpres has been prepared and is currently being designed in the form of a draft instruction from the governor (ingub).

"We as local governments who are part of the national government must support the Presidential Instruction," Teguh said quoting Antara.

The Presidential Instruction will also be followed up with derivative rules in the form of an Ingub and is currently in the form of a draft. "God willing, everything will be completed according to schedule and can be implemented immediately," he said.

The ranks of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) continue to monitor the budget that has the potential to be saved. Intensive communication with the elected governor and deputy governor transition team also continues.

The most important thing, said Teguh, is to support priority programs from the elected governor and deputy governor who will soon be inaugurated and support other national programs.

"Because we are currently calculating the day to the inauguration," said Teguh.

Regarding the issuance of the Ingub, Teguh explained that the certainty of the amount of budget to be saved is being prepared and will be optimized as best as possible.

"This Ingub is more about setting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). So, it has not yet reached the stage of calculating the budget in detail," he said.

Ingub is only an initial procedure. "If I can complete this process, I think it will be very helpful," said Teguh.

Teguh emphasized that the mapping is to determine which budgets will be saved by thoroughly checking, both in terms of allocation and budget sources. The budget allocation to be saved is still being mapped.

"Whether it's from official travel (rdinors) or maybe from certain meetings and so on, it is still being observed so that it is in line with the direction of the central government and what will be stated in the governor's office," he said.
