East Java Police Forms Timsus To Investigate SHGB Findings In The Sidoarjo Sea
SURABAYA - The East Java Regional Police formed a special team to investigate the findings of a Building Use Certificate (SHGB) covering an area of 656 hectares above the Sidoarjo waters.
Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimum) of the East Java Regional Police Kombes Farman said a team from the East Java Regional Police's Building and Land Property Sub-Directorate (Harda Bangtah) had been deployed to the field.
"This investigation was carried out on the orders of the Kapolda. Our team has carried out various investigation steps, including collecting information from witnesses," said Farman as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, January 24.
Farman explained that the investigative team had checked directly at the location where SHGB was found in the Sidoarjo area.
They have also coordinated with the local village head and asked for information from local residents to dig up information regarding the whereabouts and history of the SHGB.
"We have visited the location and met the village head to get accurate information. Currently, the investigation is still in the deepening stage," he said.

In addition to conducting an investigation in the field, the East Java Regional Police have also coordinated with the National Land Agency (BPN) to trace the process of issuing the SHGB.
The process of issuing SHGB, which is thought to have been going on for a long time, requires a detailed and time-consuming document search.
"We are coordinating with BPN to inquire about the process of issuing the SHGB. Because this SHGB has been published for a long time, we need to trace the authorized official at that time. BPN is currently looking for documents related to the issuance of the SHGB," he said.
