GenRe Ready To Take Advantage Of Demographic Bonuses For Indonesia Gold 2045

JAKARTA - 'Progress with GenRe Indonesia', is a theme raised by the Indonesian GenRe Forum (Generation Planning) in the inauguration of the National Management of the Indonesian GenRe Forum for the period 2024-2026 which was held at the Auditorium of the Office of the Ministry of Education and Culture/BKKBN on Thursday (23/01/2025).

The number of teenagers in Indonesia based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) 2023 is 64.16 million people or the equivalent of 23.18% of the total population of Indonesia.

Currently, the number of members of the Indonesian GenRe Forum is 270,221 people based on National Data 2023 in 34 provinces. GenRe was originally a program of the Ministry of Education and Culture / BKKBN with the aim of creating a generation of physically, mentally and spiritually healthy nations as stated in positive activities.

The GenRe program at the Ministry of Education and Culture/BKKBN focuses on 8 subtants, namely Marriage Age Development (PUP), 8 family functions, HIV/AIDS, life skills, KIE/Advocacy, Gender, Free Sex and Napza. The boundaries of the Genre program itself are called the Youth Information and Concession Center (PIK-R).

In 2017 GenRe transformed into a movement called a forum. Activities carried out by the GenRe Indonesia forum, namely team building, creative thinking, class programs, social campaigns and the election of the GenRe Ambassador.
