DOOM: The Dark Ages Will Launch On May 15 For PCs And Consoles

JAKARTA - During the Microsoft Xbox Developer_Direct event, developer id Software announced that its newest game, DOOM: The Dark Ages will launch on May 15 on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Game Pass.

Through a new trailer, the developer provides players with more footage of the three core pillars of the game, including Battle, Exploration, and Stories.

"It's all about engagement; creating intuitive, innovative, and loaded with fun outside, smart dances inside," said Game Director Hugo Martin in a statement.

In DOOM: The Dark Ages, you'll be able to drive your own giant Atlan, a mech of enormous proportions created to fight criminals on a very large scale.

In terms of exploration, you will meet the mysterious world of the Killer's past, which is shrouded in dark forests and tall buildings, alongside dangerous basements, and ancient battlefields.

The background combines the characteristics of DOOM, a recognizable view of hell with a Middle-century touch, and an enhanced line-up of high-tech weapons and demons.

Tim id worked on the big narrative in DOOM: The Dark Ages, with the aim of making the story and knowledge much easier to understand. However, the main story is still kept secret.

"With the Killer who was imprisoned at the beginning of our story, the balance of strength between good and evil began to shift and time continued," said Martin.
