Police Name Serka Holmes' Wife Suspect In The Murder Of A Former TNI Soldier In Labura
Medan Police have named Serka Holmes Sitompul's wife with the initials J (40), as a suspect in the alleged murder of former TNI soldier Andreas Rury Stein Sianipar (44), whose body was found in North Labuhanbatu (Labura) Regency, North Sumatra.
"Yes, he has been arrested and has become a suspect," said Medan Police Chief Kombes Gidion Arif Setyawan as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, January 23.
Police arrested suspect J at the intersection of Jalan Sei Batang Hari, Medan Sunggal District, Medan City, Wednesday (22/1) night.
He revealed that the role of suspect J in this case was suspected of having ordered other perpetrators to pick up the victim before the murder took place.
"Currently, the suspect has been detained for further investigation at the Medan Police Satreskrim," explained Gidion.
Suspect J, he continued, was charged with a number of multiple articles, namely Article 55, Article 56, and Article 340 of the Criminal Code with the threat of a maximum sentence of life imprisonment or the death penalty.
Medan Police have named four civilians as suspects who helped Sergeant Holmes be suspected of being the mastermind behind the murder of the victim Andreas Rury Stein Sianipar.
The four civilians, namely CJS (23) a resident of Klambir V, Hamparan Perak District, then MFIH (25), and FA (37) both residents of Jalan Binjai, and F (45) a resident of Kampung Lalang Village, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra.
Meanwhile, Serka Holmes, a TNI soldier at Kodam I/BB, is still active, has been detained by Pomdam I/Bukit Barisan with the alleged violation of Article 340 of the Criminal Code.
Previously, Gidion said that the disclosure of this case began with a police report Number: LP/B/3517/XII/2024/SPKT/Medan Police/North Sumatra Police, dated December 11, 2024, with the reporter on behalf of Nikolas Putra Stein Sianipar.
"The initial report was that the confinement on behalf of the victim Andreas Rury Stein Sianipar was a resident of Sunggal District, Deli Serdang," he said.

Following up on the report, the Medan Police Satreskrim team then carried out a series of investigations.
"On Wednesday (18/12/2024), we opened a series of criminal events that occurred and named three people as suspects," he said.
The motive for the kidnapping and murder of the victim Andreas Rury Stein Sianipar is a rental car problem.
"The victim rented a rental car belonging to a perpetrator, but the victim did not return the car, so the perpetrators killed the victim," he said.
After his death, the body of the victim Andreas was taken to Labura. The perpetrators drowned the victim's body in the oil palm plantation pool Dusun III, Bulu Telang, Marbau District, North Labuhanbatu.
"The police then found the victim's body on Saturday (12/12/2024), with both legs and hands tied and weighted," said Gidion.
