Traffic Engineering On The Peak Route During The Isra Miraj-Imlek Long Holiday Starting Friday Tomorrow

Bogor Police Traffic Unit imposed traffic engineering on the Puncak tourist route, Bogor Regency, West Java, starting Friday (24/1) until the Isra Miraj and the 2025 Chinese New Year holidays.

The Head of Traffic at the Bogor Police, AKP Rizky Guntama, explained the traffic engineering to anticipate the density of vehicles in the form of the Odd-Even Vehicle System and the One-way System or one-way situationally.

Traffic engineering on the Puncak tourist route will take effect from Friday (24/1) to Wednesday (29/1). Because this long holiday starts from the weekend, Saturday (25/1), then Isra Miraj on Monday (27/1) and the Chinese New Year on Wednesday (29/1).

"One way is still being carried out, we can see from the current situation. If it is from Jakarta to Puncak, we will carry out one way to the top, usually those who will go up in the morning, during the day they return to their respective homes," said AKP Rizky as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, January 23.

He revealed that the peak density of vehicles on the 22-kilometer route is predicted to occur this weekend, and Wednesday, January 29.

"The peak is on Wednesday to go down. (Yang) is anticipated on Saturdays and Sundays which go up," he said.

The police deployed 350 joint officers to guard the Puncak Bogor tourist route.

Rizky appealed to tourists who want to take a vacation to Bogor Regency, especially the Puncak Bogor area, to maintain the health of their bodies and vehicles.
