Ministry Of Health Affirms Free Health Checks Can Be Done Until D-30 Birthday
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) said that free health checks (PKG) do not have to be carried out on birthdays. This examination can be carried out up to 30 days after the birthday date, so that people can find a suitable schedule during that period.
To carry out free health checks, people can use the One Sehat application. Through this application, they will be given a reminder for inspection and registration.
"So our H-30 will be a reminder, notive, you will have your birthday in 30 days, then please get ready for screening. D-7 we will inform you what the checks are like, later there will be tickets, directly register at the Pratama Health Facility," said the Chief of Technology Transformation Office of the Ministry of Health, Setiaji, when met in Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
"What are the health facilities, there is a Puskesmas, there is a clinic registered with BPJS. Then later we will continue to remind H-4, H-1, until the D-day. Then when did you expire? D+30, so for that month friends can choose when to do the examination," he added.
After conducting an examination, the public will later receive a health defect containing the results of the examination. If necessary further action, such as drugs and other examinations, the doctor will provide a reference.
"So we have worked together with approximately a few startups to carry out further examinations, starting from follow-ups and so on," he said.
Previously, the Ministry of Health had released technical instructions for the implementation of PKG, through the Decree of the Minister of Health Number HK.01.07/MENKES/33/2025. PKG consists of three types, namely PKG Birthday, PKG School, and Special PKG.
