Reconstruction Of Murder Case In Kediri One Family, Perpetrator Kills Victim With Palu

KEDIRI - Kediri Resort Police, East Java, held a reconstruction of the murder case of a family in Gondanglegi Hamlet, Pandantoyo Village, Ngancar District, Kediri Regency, by presenting the suspect YCU (35) directly.

The Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kediri Police, Iptu Endra Maret Setyawan, said that the reconstruction was held so that the details of the crime committed by the suspect. The reconstruction was held at the Kediri Police Headquarters Indoor Field.

"This reconstruction emerged a new fact that had not previously been revealed. Initially, the suspect admitted to doing 39 scenes, after showing the number increased by 10 scenes so that the total became 49," said Endra, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 22.

He revealed the new fact, namely the way the suspect YCU, a resident of Bangsongan Village, Kayen Kidul District, who is also the victim's younger brother, killed his victims.

The suspect hit the victim's head using a hammer not only once, but three to five times. The hammer was also prepared beforehand and taken from the suspect's house.

When the reconstruction was also demonstrated, the beginning of the conflict occurred. The suspect was involved in an argument with the victim.

When carrying out the action, the suspect hit his older brother, K (37), then attacked AK (38) after his husband K. The suspect also killed his nephew, CAW (12), and injured the victim's second child, SPY (11).

In that action, three people died, while the last victim, SPY managed to survive.

After committing the murder, the suspect took the victim's valuables, including a cell phone and an Avanza car.

The suspect was desperate to take his brother's valuables. It is planned that the money from the sale will be used to pay off debts in cooperatives.

The suspect's motive for the action was to be upset because his brother was not given a loan of money.

Meanwhile, the suspect's attorney, Sutrisno, stated that his party would follow the legal process in accordance with the investigation report (BAP).

His client also regretted his actions and has pleaded guilty. However, the legal process is still ongoing.

"The suspect himself regretted his actions and expressed his guilt for what had happened to his brother and nephew," he said.

The murder case that hit a family in Gondanglegi Hamlet, Pandantoyo Village, Ngancar District, Kediri Regency, occurred on December 5, 2024.

Three victims who died were still relatives with the suspect. As for the survivors, now being treated by their grandmothers.
