North Korean Media Reports Trump's Inauguration While Alluding To US Atrocities During The Korean War
North Korean state media reported the inauguration of President of the United States (US) Donald Trump but made no comment on his presidency. But there were accusations about the United States committing atrocities during the 1950-1953 Korean War.
Rodong Sinmun, a spokesman for the ruling Labor Party, published a brief article saying Trump was elected 47th president in the November elections and his inauguration ceremony was held in Washington on Monday.
Reported by Reuters on Wednesday, January 22, the newspaper did not specify or contain any comments about Trump or US affairs, although the newspaper contained photos of young students receiving propaganda education about the Korean War and growing anger at the atrocities committed by the US.
Trump held an unprecedented summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during his first term and praised their personal relationship.
