BGN Responds To Elementary School Students' Complaints About The Hambar Flavor Of The MBG Menu, Alludes To Reduce Food Supply
JAKARTA - The National Nutrition Agency responded to criticism from an elementary school student about the taste of the menu presented in Free Nutrition Food (MBG), and stated that the SPPG was still adjusting to the program, such as related to cooking food in large volumes.
"Those who are in the SPPG (Witness Fulfillment Service Unit) have already been taught, yes. So, they have actually conducted trials. But, whose names immediately made 3 thousand, there is a possibility that they are also in making recipes, for example not used to many. ," said BGN Expert Staff Ikeu Tanziha reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 21.
Ikeu gave an example, there is a possibility that the officers are not used to cooking in large volumes, so they lack salt and feel bland.
In addition, he said, adjustments to the new work pattern are also one of the factors, for example, nutritionists who have to work from 01 am to ensure all the food served according to the procedure.
"But, the name is also only the first two weeks, yes. Indeed, in the first two weeks, it was like Warungkiara in Sukabumi. What is in Sukabumi, the nutritionist said, the first two weeks were tough, very heavy," he said.
Regarding the hopes of a number of children for the menu to be made a little cheaper to increase appetite, Ikeu explained that MBG is not just providing food, but also as a form of education about eating the right food.
"So if we want, yes, just give it. Like chicken, for example, right. Then, give nuggets. It will be more for children to really satisfy them, that's it. But that's not what they want," he said.

He mentioned that in MBG, it is taught to get used to reducing appetite. Ikeu said, if you ask for food that is rich in high deposits, it is because of the wrong parenting pattern.
"Usually the tongue has been formed with a delicious taste, right. There must be a child saying it's not good, maybe because his tongue is already tongued a lot," he said.
